A Treatise on Goddess

A Treatise on Goddess

We are all social creatures. God, and I contend Goddess as well, ensured
this with the idea that we are all born into a family. As such, we all grow
into our communities, and even beyond into the world community at large,
given the values that our beloved parents instilled in us. What we might
not realize just yet is that we are born into a larger family than we might
have previously thought: God and Goddess’s family.

Imago Dei
Genesis 1:27 tells us that God created mankind in his own likeness. Why then,
pray tell, are we not just comprised of fathers? Why are there mothers among
us as well? God created us in the reflection of holy truth, and this speaks
very strongly for the existence of Goddess as well.

Isaiah 45:5
This verse screams that there are no other Gods. It says nothing, however we
might perceive it, about Goddess not being real and extant. It simply states
there are no other male Gods. We might, wrongfully I contend, assume this is
true also of Goddess, but that’s quite a leap in logic.

The Holy Spirit convicts us of sin
God’s spirit, as one might expect of a father, convicts us of wrongdoing.
Goddess’s spirit, on the other hand, does the opposite when She can. She
nurtures the good in us; once we’ve invited Her into our lives, she reminds
us of the good we’ve done throughout various situations. The Father, like
we see in most healthy families these days, keeps His children within the
guardrails of a good life, while the Mother keeps encouraging us to do better
still. Together they are the very standard of a good, healthy family.

If you’ve gotten this far, I thank you for your indulgence, but now I ask
one last thing of you, dear reader. I ask that you invite both of our
heavenly parents into your lives – a quick prayer through thought will
suffice — and see the truth for yourselves as your lives progress replete
with their graceful presence.
