On the Scale of Good and Evil

God created this world to be rather neutral, with the potential for good and
evil. Later on, God set loose Adam and Eve in the garden to cultivate it. We
are still in that same position, as God’s creation.
Each of us is given weights: time, effort, money, and so on. Where we place
those weights on the scale of Good and Evil is up to us. We have eaten of
the fruit, so we see both Good and Evil around us. It’s up to us to place
our weights on the Good side of the scale, however we see fit and are able to,
to keep improving upon God’s original — yet incomplete — work: the universe.
In so doing, we find and attain meaningful happiness.
