Time and Scope
We measure time by movement, and vice versa. In the paper /On Newton’s Cradle/
I go to show how force is transferred through solid, lattice objects faster than
by objects imparting force. A large, or small, object colliding with the
former, will impart its force uniformly throughout the solid object. This means
that the opposite side of the object, compared to where the collision took
place, now has the imparted momentum as well. This results, as in Newton’s
Cradle, in motion being transferred potentially faster than by the motion
imparted. What this means is that there would appear to be a time differential
between the macro- and microscopic scales, but this is an illusion. 3.7.2017
